The illustration that I chose is an illustration by Daniel Clowes. Daniel Clowes is a graphic artist, and a frequent cover artist for the New Yorker. He currently lives in Oakland, CA. He did an illustration for the classic book "Frankenstein." The story of Frankenstein is probably one of the most known horror stories. In his take to recreate the cover, Daniel Clowes, does something very different. He does a comic page, to show the horror of a science experiment gone bad. It shows the reader the famous scene when Frankenstein turns into the ugly monster, but leaves the reader anxious to know what will happen next. The audience for this illustration is anyone that would want to read the story of Frankenstein. I really liked the cover for this book because it is very different from other book covers. There is action going on the cover, which sets you up for when you start reading the book.
